Nothing works up an appetite like a day on a PWC adventure, riding my Sea-Doo personal watercraft. So like most participants in recreational boating, I’m always on the lookout for accessible, Ontario waterfront restaurants. I love to stop for a bite and a break on a jet ski, waverunner PWC or Sea Doo watercraft ride.
Of course, the first thing I look for in Ontario waterfront restaurants is an eatery that has an on-site or adjacent place to dock my jet ski. But that can be a challenge for experienced Sea Doo riders, beginners or renters. Next, I want a decent menu with tasty food and quick service. This way, we can get back to our Sea Doo riding without much delay.
Over the years, I’ve found quite a few Ontario waterfront restaurants on my best river rides and top Sea Doo tours that have both. Bear in mind that my selections shouldn’t be considered as restaurant reviews. Or that this list is complete for recreational boating. But here are some of my favourite Ontario waterfront restaurants (I suggest calling ahead to check summer hours). I’ve also included my subjective jet ski dock rating (where 1 is poor and 5 is excellent). Meanwhile, check this link if you’re looking for a jet ski friendly place to overnight.
Eastern Ontario Waterfront Restaurants
1000 Islands
Boathouse Restaurant, Rockport
